Ongoing Training for Reliable Safety Solutions
All employees, including drivers, are part of our ongoing relentless pursuit of safety. The driver training program starts with rigorous training at the onset by VTS staff followed by sensitivity training and ADA compliance training.
The general manager performs quarterly reviews of correspondence and reminders from a system administrator, as well as reviewing all regulations and policy procedures. As regulations and procedures are always being updated, this makes ongoing training and certifications necessary. Current certification training held by management includes but is not limited to – Terrorist Activity Recognition and Reaction, Driver Job Responsibility Training, Wheelchair Securement and Occupant Restraint Training, Coaching the Transit Bus Operator, Defensive Driving Course, and Safe Transportation of the Public under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
All VTS Staff is required to participate in ongoing safety training and empowered to initiate fine tuning safety measures through our open door management policies. Our ongoing training ensures the safe and dependable solutions to all your transportation needs.
